The support role entails in depth knowledge of Traffic Manager / Load Balancer products, Linux OS, TCP/IP networking and the associated troubleshooting applications . The Traffic Manager support role requires knowledge of many different protocols to be able to assist with configuration and diagnose connection problems. Diss, Suffolk: This was a 6 month contract diagnosing and repairing faults on Unix/Solaris systems that ran bespoke software to store data within Sybase for major printing and publishing companies. The solutions involved some Perl debugging and general system administration.

Gameplay plc. (Colchester, Essex): Ensuring the 24/7 smooth running and operational capacity of Gameplay's customer facing web and gaming services. Comprising of 12 SUN E450's, a number of smaller SUN servers, approximately 100 PC based game servers and a number of Cisco routers. Solely responsible for sourcing, installing, configuration and application of 24 hour monitoring capabilities and alert system.Apache web server installation and configuration.Access control to the data centre.Solaris server installation and configuration.Pager rota
