Our efforts over the past few years with the BioSand Bag Filters have started to bear fruit. We have made great strides in our P3 product with:•Independent testing results where Pace Laboratories built our filter from scratch, used contaminated water and proved that we filter out 99.999% of the contaminants that cause many of the world's water borne diseases.•We have changed the construction of our bag to reduce its weight from 90 lbs to just over 35 lbs. This will save an enormous amount of money in shipping•We have created an assembly manual that is 100% pictorial to avoid needing to be translated •We have field tested the filter in Varanasi, India and we are moving to have our filters operational in an orphanage in Haiti in the next 2 weeks.What is left for us is to create the demand for our product with people on the ground in affected areas. In particular, we are trying to address the crisis that was caused in the Philippines by Typhoon "Haiyan".
