Born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario, I studied in Toronto before moving to B.C. in 1997 to article at the Vancouver office of a national firm. After falling in love with Vancouver I decided to stay, practicing at a litigation boutique firm in downtown Vancouver before running the litigation department at a Surrey firm starting in 2002.My expertise is in land related disputes, including cases involving commercial and residential sale agreements, land development, construction and builders liens, commercial leases, foreclosures and farm and land use disputes. My practice also includes debtor/creditor, shareholder, partnership and society disputes, unfair competition and trademark infringement and representation of realtors, insurance agents and mortgage brokers before their various disciplinary bodies.I focus on delivering a practical and economical approach to solving business disputes, and on high quality and practical advocacy where litigation is necessary. I have over 20 years of experience in B.C. Supreme Court conducting lengthy and complex trials and handling appeals before the B.C. Court of Appeal.
