I was a chemical operator at the Lubrizol Corporation for 32 years. I was privileged to be on a team that traveled to China for a new plant start up. We were tasked with preparing the equipment for start up, starting the process operating and training the new staff to operate the unit properly. I am proud of the job we did there and happy to report the plant is running well.I was involved in the emergency response team, serving on numerous teams; Fire Fighting, Pumper Truck Operator, Hazmat Tech, High Angle Rescue and as an EMT. I have also served on the Officer Corp as a Captain, Assistant Chief and Chief.I have spent the last 10 years teaching Emergency Response in plants and working with construction and maintenance teams to manage their tank entries and hazardous line breaks. I am always looking for the next opportunity and have taken the OSHA 510 and 511 recently to further my expertise in the safety aspect of the job site.
