At presentation of the chair, we record a sit-down interview of the veteran telling their story. This story is then linked to the chair using a unique digital footprint, thus forever preserving the story to that chair.

Developed, formed, and leads a cross functional strategic design team responsible for addressing national strategic issues for the Commander of US Strategic Command. Manages the design and development of future organizational and operational concepts for senior executives to consider during strategic planning and crisis operations. Additionally, leads efforts to create models to assist civilian and military executives to visualize, understand, and act within the complex international security environment across multiple domains. Coaches the team in design thinking and strategic innovation through personal development and education.

Managed cross functional planning teams for the implementation of future operations within nine different mission areas to include cyber, space, combating weapons of mass destruction, and strategic deterrence. Led an organizational development team which resulted in the creation of a new joint headquarters responsible for the elimination of weapons of mass destruction during contingency operations.

Managed multiple planning teams responsible for the development of the first ever Fort Hood campaign which included unit and leadership development programs as well as facility utilization and upgrade programs. Led the planning team that developed organizational operating procedures for a 1500-person multi-national headquarters. Served as the Commanding General’s speech writer for public speaking engagements.

Planned and managed the implementation of a multifaceted and multi-year counter-insurgency and stability campaign for a 5000-person US Army unit and over 10,000 Iraqi security forces. This included the design and management of a multi-national command and control structure which enabled cross-cultural and cross-national implementation of stability operations. The campaign’s success significantly improved the security, the governance and delivery of essential services, and economic development of Diyala Province, Iraq.

Planned, resourced, and implemented domestic and international travel for speaking engagements, unit visits, and diplomatic events for the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Managed the Fort Carson training and resource program for all assigned units comprising 25,000 individuals and over $500 million of equipment. Planned, developed, and resourced annual training plans to prepare combat and support units for contingency operations. Planned and managed multiple unit equipment and personnel deployments to the Middle East.

Led, directed, and managed a 300-person unit comprising 13 subordinate organizations responsible for the logistical support of a 1200-person unit. Planned, resourced, and implemented the training and development of the unit in support of contingency operations. Managed an operational budget of over $10 million and maintained all equipment and facilities valued at over $35 million.

Led, directed, and managed a 130-person unit comprising four subordinate organizations responsible for the execution of military combat and peacekeeping operations. Planned, resourced, and implemented the training and development of the unit in support of contingency operations. Managed an operational budget of over $1 million and maintained all equipment and facilities valued at over $15 million.

Led, directed, and managed a 30-person unit responsible for all property management and logistical support of an 800-person unit comprising five subordinate organizations. Managed an operational budget of over $5 million and maintained all equipment and facilities valued at over $20 million.
