At that time EUnet-GB were the first UK ISP, operating from the computer lab at the University of Kent at Canterbury.During this time, Roy was involved in the beginnings of the UK Internet, and was involved in connecting the early ISPs including Demon, Pipex and BTnet; and corporate clients including Intel and HP.This was a hugely exciting time, and although it was only a few years I learnt a stack about the internet, Unix, TCP/IP, and managing a team in a rapidly evolving environment. Some nostalgic memories: UUCP over trailblazer modems, a network infrastructure with bandwidths measured in kilobits, the pre-web internet, and the excitement when NCSA mosaic came along.EUnet GB was sold to the American ISP PSInet in 1995.
