I developed and executed a digital content and communication strategy, managed WIG’s website including ensuring brand consistency, developed our social media and digital communications platforms and worked closely (and was part of) the CRM roll-out team to manage integration of the new MS Dynamics CRM with the website in 2014. This included researching, testing and recommending e-mail marketing solutions and then their integration with our new CRM. Experienced in using Google Analytics and Google Adwords and working with business areas to understand how they could make best of the range of tools available to them.

The Public Service Transformation Academy is a not-for-profit social enterprise, with partners including The Whitehall & Industry Group, RedQuadrant, NCVO, Browne Jacobson LLP, E3M, TSIP, the Alliance for Useful Evidence, Local Gov Digital, Collaborate, Numbers for Good, Basis and members of the Public Service Transformation Network. A mission is to drive better outcomes for people and communities by developing the local, civil, social and health sectors’ capabilities to collaborate, innovate and lead.

I joined the charity to set-up secondments, short attachments. mentoring partnerships and interchange between government, business and the voluntary sector. I worked with a range of leaders from early career professionals to the top of an organisation to get them experience of working in, or with, an organisation in another sector. I also managed a range of projects including our regional talent programme in the North East of England which involved working with a range of external stakeholders.

I joined through the IBM graduate scheme and then undertook a variety of roles including tracking projects and time/money spent on them, first line helpdesk and then second line technical support. I was also a junior Lotus Notes Developer/System Administrator and progressed to be lead Lotus Notes Developer for one of IBM's largest UK projects. I also worked at assessment centres for Graduate & Student Recruitment talking about why you should join the company and marketing the benefits it offered and the development you would gain.
