Coordinated the overall operation of the Publications Production Center (PPC), including the production of project documents, technical proposals, and other corporate materials. Reviewed all requests submitted by staff for PPC services. Scheduled and coordinated the flow of work to production and graphics personnel. Maintained accurate records on the status of jobs submitted to the PPC and monitored work progress to ensure the quality and timeliness of work performed. Performed quality control reviews of all documents to ensure clear presentation, proper formatting, and the elimination of typographical errors prior to release. Assigned editing jobs to in-house or on-call staff, ensuring that documents received a final quality control review. Ensured that final documents were delivered error-free to originator before the established deadline. Served as production coordinator for proposal development efforts, ensuring the smooth production and electronic storage of all technical proposals. Maintained a system for storing all final documents on the network to permit rapid, easy document retrieval. Analyzed, recommended, and implemented new work procedures to ensure that daily and long-term operations of the PPC remain efficient. Interviewed and made recommendations for selection of PPC temporary, permanent, and on-call production and graphics personnel, and ensured that all PPC staff needs were met.
