I have a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from The Citadel. I also hold certifications in Acquisition Professional, Production Quality and Manufacturing Level 3, and Engineering and Technical Management Level 1 from the Defense Acquisition University.As a submarine inspector and maintenance manager, I assessed the effectiveness of submarine maintenance and material management programs, identified areas for improvement, and made recommendations.
