Following my transition from audit to finance, the skills I had gained as an auditor provided me with a strong financial foundation to prosper and grow as an analyst. Working alongside portfolio managers at a multi-strategy asset manager has exposed me to several investing strategies, some of which include value, quality, and income generation, in both local and global markets. Fundamental analysis has been the basis of the majority of the investment strategies that I have worked with, and, as such, typical work-day tasks have included building financial models and performing company valuations. My passion for finance has encouraged me to explore other areas of expertise, which I believe are of exceptional use and value within the industry. I am particularly interested in the use of Data Science and Machine Learning in finance, and I am currently seeking to further develop my skills through short term courses and eager self-research in these fields.
