- Translation of and implementation of legislation and societal developments into company policies and working methods, e.g. in the area of chemical emissions, as well as (regulated) substances in mixtures and articles (relation to RoHS, REACH, CLP/GHS, etc.).- Successful facilitation and support of the mutual alignment of policies and working methods between Océ (NL) and Canon (JPN). Done so by organizing regular meetings since 2011/2012, both by telephone and in person.- As Issue Leader on REACH Substances-in-Articles for DIGITALEUROPE (further: "DE") I made sure a common position was formulated on the draft guidance issued by the European CHemicals Agency ("ECHA") and defended DE's position within the Partner Expert Group meeting in Helsinki (involving member states, NGO's, other Trade Associations and EU-institutes like DG GROW, DG ENV and ECHA).

- Teamleider en coach voor een groep van 5 professionals op het gebied van chemische wetgeving (wereldwijde registraties, REACH, GHS, BPR, RoHS, nanomaterialen etc.), toxicologie, risicobeoordelingen en controle over en vermijden van produktgerelateerde emissies en blootstelling. - Implementatie van IEC62474 en gerelateerde wetgevingen en werkwijzes (verboden en beperkte stoffen in elektronische apparaten).- Begeleiding van de voortdurende implementatie en uitvoering van REACH binnen de diverse multidisciplinaire bedrijfsonderdelen van Océ door middel van inbreng van zowel expertise op het gebied van de wet als door het identificeren van en rekening houden met de noodzakelijke aanpassingen binnen de organisatie. Om dit te bereiken heb ik actief de betreffende afdelingen bij de implementatie betrokken (R&D, Productie, Legal, Inkoop).- Integratie van Océ en Canon beleid en werkwijzen. Succesvol de Canon branding van Océ produkten (mede) mogelijk gemaakt door (schijnbare) verschillen in beleid en werkwijzen te overbruggen.

- Successfully introduced and guided implementation of REACH within Océ.- Risk and exposure assessments in relation to printers and consumables. E.g. in relation to chemical and particle emissions.- Expert on ENERGYSTAR and as such successfully contributed to both the ENERGYSTAR program at the US EPA and the EU working group on ENERGYSTAR. Representing DIGITALEUROPE in the EC Energystar Board.

- Successfully developed and engineered a toner production process together with and as the Teamlead of a team of 5 process engineers. This included recording critical functional aspect related to materials and process steps, print tests as well as developing tests to ensure quality of material properties (physical, electrical, chemical, etc.). Together with Manufacturing this process was scaled up to a new factory (order of 1000 ton/year)- "Maintenance" activities on other toners, including trouble shooting in case of quality and performance questions or issues, second/ new sourcing, ensuring safe use.
