Involved in projects mainly for the Financial Services Industry, both in Portugal and Angola:Main Responsibilities:- Provide guidance to planning, control, monitoring and reporting of several projects;- Provide analytical support while developing different tools to elaborate forecast under different scenarios, and predict its impacts on budget and business plan;- Responsible for the implementation of methodologies and calculation tools to estimate and monitor requirements and key indicators and its projections;- Review of budget and business plan, by conducting internal review of the process regarding all the areas involved, with design and implementation of tools to optimize and automatize the process;- Responsible for elaborate and present deliverables to the team and clients on an ongoing basis (included C-Levels) and maintain customer relationships.Main Projects:- ICAAP & ILAAP Implementation – Definition, quantification and full implementation of the first ICAAP and ILAAP exercise in several banks in Angola. Elaboration of integrated tools to quantify credit, market, operational and other risks for several Banking Institutions;- ICAAP Review – Assessment of ICAAP’s methodologies regarding European Supervisor’s guidelines under the SREP;- Stress Test Methodology – Development of stress testing methodologies by simulate the impacts of determined idiosyncratic and systemic shocks. Support the development of a tool to estimate Reverse Stress Test, Sensitivity Analysis and Scenario Analysis and its impact on Bank's RAS and Business Model;- IFRS 9 – Revision and implementation of sensitivity analysis and backtesting processes for PD and LGD parameters for a loan impairment portfolio;- Data Warehouse – Design the requirements for a DW and test its implementation; - Internal Audit Procedures – Analysis and revision of internal processes and procedures, by identifying sub-processes, risks and controls, mapping and evaluating its design and effectiveness.

Engaged in external audit procedures mainly for the Financial Services Industry, both in Portugal and Angola, including banking institutions, insurance companies and microcredit.Main Responsibilities:- Responsible for multi-disciplinary’s team management in several audit procedures;- Engagement team management and support to less experienced colleagues;- Monitoring and evaluation of the team performance to ensure the quality of the deliveries and to meet deadlines and budgets for each project;- Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.Main Projects:- Asset Quality Review – Support Financial Institutions under the program of Asset Quality Review required by the supervisory authority, Banco Nacional de Angola, with major roll on performing loan default risk analysis and impairment models evaluation and valuation of securities portfolios;- Due Diligence of a Portuguese Financial Institution – Support of an in-depth analysis of an acquisition process for the potential buyer side;- IFRS Implementation in a Foreign Country – Support Financial Institutions implementing and being in compliance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”);- Financial Reporting Statement – Audit Financial Reporting Statement for several financial institutions, under the International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”), performing audit procedures on critical areas, namely, loans and advances to customers, securities portfolio and impairment models; - Audit Quality Management System – Evaluation of the Audit Quality Management System, through the review of the internal processes and the analysis of the design and implementation of controls for several Financial Institutions.

Engaged in external audit procedures mainly for the Financial Services Industry, both in Portugal and Angola, including banking institutions, insurance companies and microcredit.Main Responsibilities: - Responsible for multi-disciplinary’s team management in several audit procedures;- Provide analytical and reporting support by performing different analysis to key metrics and financial results and interpret its variances to ensure the client was within its business plan;- Ensure business control, certifying that all KPIs were monitored, analyzed and reported, and identify opportunities for improvement across client’s organization; - Support in-depth analysis to the balance sheet and income statement of several commercial bank, investment funds and insurance companies; - Gap Analysis and review of organization and governance models.Main Projects:- Financial Reporting Statement – Audit Financial Reporting Statement for several financial institutions, under the International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”), performing audit procedures on critical areas of profit (interest income and commissions), loss (Administrative expenses, Staff expenses and other operating expenses) and balance sheet (loans and advances to customers, securities portfolio and impairment models); - Audit Quality Management System – Evaluation of the Audit Quality Management System, through the review of the internal processes and the analysis of the design and implementation of controls for several Financial Institutions.
