Tampa Branch

Provided design and lifecycle support to Enterprise accounts in the Retail Vertical. As a result of our initiatives for implementing VoIP services to customers the branch exceeded plan (120% MRV and 158% NRV).

Supported all Private Network products (e.g. MPLS, VPWS and Ethernet) as Tier 2 support to the Sales Engineering organization. This included such things as:• Presented at EBCs to Enterprise customers, many in Fortune 100. The audience ranged from director to C-Level. • Assisting assigned Sales Engineer on Enterprise accounts to do technical deep-dives and white-boarding sessions with the customers IT and engineering staff to create valid technical design and work through any perceived application or technical limitations.• Personally developed and supported the Private Networks Virtual Technology Group (VTG) which is still in use today. Responsible for the support and training of approximately 200 SEs private networking technologies and products. This involved scheduling, moderating and presenting on bi-weekly calls.• Served as a liaison between VzB’s Engineering and Marketing Groups with the Sales Engineers in the field. This involved communicating product deficiencies and the customer’s product requirements to Marketing and Engineering. As well as updated the SE’s with new product and technical information.

Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida Area

Key asset in supporting the Private Networks portfolio which generates approximately $3.3B per year in revenue. Directly supported the Private IP (MPLS) product as well as supported and developed the Private IP Layer 2 (VPWS) product. In addition was a primary stakeholder in migrating approximately 20K FedGov customer ports from the vBNS+ (MPLS) network to Private IP.Also supported the Public IP product portfolio that generates approximately $600M per year for both the Dedicated and Broadband product sets. Focusing on developing Internet Cable as a broadband access for Public IP as well as the VLSS project for Software Defined Perimeter (SDP).
