Our focus was on enhancing molecular visualization techniques to analyze cell nuclei, specifically to quantify and assess the heterogeneity of ecDNA across different cells.Recognizing the time-intensive nature of manual counting—where analyzing just 150 images could take over a week—we initiated a project to leverage computer vision technology for automating the detection and quantification of ecDNA. This innovation aims to streamline our research process, enabling us to explore the dynamics of ecDNA more efficiently under varying conditions.
