Our focus was on enhancing molecular visualization techniques to analyze cell nuclei, specifically to quantify and assess the heterogeneity of ecDNA across different cells.Recognizing the time-intensive nature of manual counting—where analyzing just 150 images could take over a week—we initiated a project to leverage computer vision technology for automating the detection and quantification of ecDNA.
