Currently working as an independent video producer working on documentaries and informational/training videos. Recently the Executive Director of the local television station in Novato, just north of San Francisco. I created the three-channel broadcast studio 13 years ago where I developed a non-profit community television station, Novato Public Access Television, Inc. (NPAT), from a small media center into an organization that includes two full-service broadcast centers. One of which, located at Novato High School in the Marin School of the Arts Film program. Both centers allow NPAT to serve every individual and non-profit organization in the North Bay area. I work directly with community members and groups to create compelling television shows, public service announcements, documentaries and many other video productions. I also hold regular workshops covering topics such as effect story-telling, video editing, camera techniques, script writing and other production skills. I have taught in a variety of traditional and non-traditional educational positions. My teaching experience includes 13 years in public education (grades 4-12), higher level instruction at Dominican University of California and individualized training programs. In public schools, my experience includes, technology, math, science and language arts where I have held positions in leadership. My graduate and upper graduate teaching experience has revolved around technology in the classroom using 21st century skills.I have a passion for helping people realize that they can achieve many objectives and goals, that at first may seem too difficult and challenging. I love working with students and individuals to see their growth and to assist them in becoming more confident with technology. I am a life-long learner who loves to take on challenges and is never afraid of "putting myself out there".
