With more than two decades in the media and communications world, I bring broad and deep experience in creating strategies and executing plans in the biotech and pharmaceutical business, including generating media coverage, overseeing corporate rebrands, growing social media accounts, bolstering employee engagement on internal communications channels and devising compelling content across several mediums. I started my career in journalism at a daily newspaper and freelancing for the New York Times, before landing a role at Bloomberg News, where I covered technology, wine and biotechnology as a beat reporter. From there I transitioned to public relations, working at an agency where I advised dozens of biopharma clients on media strategy. Next, I moved to an in-house communications leadership role at Johnson & Johnson, coordinating campaigns across the global giant's many business units, focusing on innovation. More recently, I have had head of communications roles at high-profile and fast-growing biotech companies, where I dealt with crises, spearheaded corporate rebrands, ran internal communications efforts, established best external communications practices, grew social media accounts and generated news coverage and thought leadership opportunities.
