Wells Superintendent for Brae Alpha, planning well decommissioning activities whilst supporting rig return to service project.As the Superintendent for the Cormorant Alpha platform, oversaw well decommissioning planning for the entire well stock. Additionally facilitated the integration of the Archer Topaz (Modular Drilling Rig) into the asset and initiated well decommissioning activities. Subsequently, advanced to the role of Superintendent for Brae Alpha and East Brae Assets, continuing to plan well decommissioning activities while supporting the rig return-to-service project. Acts as the wells focal point for asset, engineering, and rig return-to-service teams, as well as external/regulatory bodies.

Created and implemented drilling programmes and supplements, prepared time and cost estimates, procured services and co-ordinated suppliers. Compiled operational information for performance analysis, led wash-up meetings and closed out supplier non-conformance reports Monitored cost expenditure and reconciled costs at the end of each well. Ensured lessons learned were documented and resulting actions implemented.

Supported the Drilling Supervisor to successfully deliver safe and efficient drilling operations on the John Shaw semi-submersible. Provided technical engineering support. Used Well plan software to generate theoretical charts (torque & drag, ECD, swab/surge) and compared to actual values obtained during operations. Produced casing tallies, performed cement calculations and tracked chemical usage. Coordinated wash-up meetings, compiled lessons learned and wrote end of well reports.
