Captain Field Offshore Installation Manager(OIM)

Responsible for Production & Process Operations on Captain WPP/BLP

Scheduler/Planner for all disciplines on Captain FPSO• Owner of 7 Day plan, scheduling, coordination and execution.• Coordinate and prioritise maintenance group/expectations for each day in conjunction with the overall planning process.• Provide guidance and leadership to operations / maintenance team and vendors whilst onboard the installation.• Facilitate weekly (7 day planning) maintenance/operator technicians planning meeting.• Facilitate integrated plan meeting offshore and feedback to onshore.• Identify and manage vendor workscopes through to paperwork close out.• Assist the RTL with defining and planning the work scope of Turnaround maintenance and campaigns.• Provide input to integrated planning system.• Carry out the role of Offshore focal point for activity planning and execution of shutdown

I currently work within the Erskine Intervention Team as a Mechanical and Process Technician. This involves working in the Chevron office and offshore on the Erskine NUI Platform. My role involves planning, executing and closing out all mechanical and process work scopes.In the office all the work scopes for each intervention to the platform are planned. This includes attending various meetings, producing permits & isolations, maintaining SAP, meeting with various vendors and producing work packs for each intervention we carry out. Also whilst in the office I carry out the role of Scheduler Coordinator for the Erskine Team. This includes ensuring all discipline work is planned and that the POB plan is kept up to date and maximised.Within the team for the last two years I have carried out the role of Turnaround Team Leader for the Erskine TAR’s. I plan, action & execute all parts of the TAR to ensure it’s carried out safely and in a timely manner.Whilst offshore I actively participate in carrying out all preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment. From a process side I carryout various operations to ensure the smooth running and maximisation of production. I’m a PA, IAM, IAP & AA within the Chevron ISSOW system. I'm also trained to carry out the role of OIM on Erskine. I carry out the role of deputy OIM during each intervention offshore and have been OIM on a few occasions. I'm fully trained as OIM and have recently passed Major Emergency Management Assessment. (MEM)
