I was assigned to work on a single project for LivingSocial: Market Segmentation October 2011 -Designed a proposal to create four hyperlocal segments within the DC market. The results indicate that the marketing team should launch their product in these segments to successfully generate high revenue. -Worked with large amounts of data, using Excel, ESRI ArcGIS, U.S. Census Bureau, and other sources. -Utilizing ArcGIS, I created two maps to interpret and present my findings: The first map identifies successful merchants and how well the vouchers appeared to the customers. The second map displays and interprets the distribution of both qualitative and quantitative variables, which indicates the four hyperlocal segments. These segments were determined with both accurate spatial and attribute data.
