GE created the Industrial Internet to leverage the intelligence of operational technology for improved performance and management in many industries and now brings it to government. As a part of the Intelligent Cities group within GE, I work with city leaders to help bring the Industrial Internet to municipalities. This allows them to build intelligent environments with brilliant machines to reach desired outcomes of better community safety and services. Cities will be able to leverage new and existing data to generate positive outcomes or insights to improve traffic, safety, city services, crime reduction and detect events before they happen and a whole lot more.
