My path to leadership in the professional, continuing, and online education community has its origins in television and video production, allowing me to transition my storytelling, project management, and people management skills into the classroom. I work in collaboration with subject matter experts to assist them in best translating their message into the online environment to create new pathways for learning. Through trust in partnership, innovative thinking, and a results-driven mentality, I work to grow the field of educators who thrive in the online environment. I take pride in being “the first” in my role - often my start at a company or institution is through a newly formed position. This enables me to identify opportunities firsthand and work to find the best fit for both myself and my team based on the tasks before me. I can also bring new ideas to an existing position, from small tweaks to a complete reassessment of goals and objectives for the job function. From my early days in television to my work in education, which includes five seasons of golf course management, I strive to take on the challenges associated with each new prospective project and create a resolution that works best for all stakeholders.
