Following graduation with a Master's in Historic Preservation I was fortunate to be able to take the skills and knowledge I had learned and apply them as a architect with the National Park Service's Heritage Documentation Programs. In this position I have expanded my knowledge of traditional and modern documentation skills, as well as continuing to learn a variety of new technologies and methods to better capture historic places and make them more accessible to the public.I continually look for ways to interact and engage with the larger preservation community, and with the local community efforts around me. This has included everything from learning new ways to better share information and documentation via interactive web features and exhibit pages, to learning to better connect with members of the community I live in to enhance our shared stories.
