On the PR side, Ruben is responsible for leading the APAC PR strategy, team management, budgeting and implementation, as well as generating several global campaign ideas per year that are produced across different regions. On the Consumer Marketing side, Ruben supports the global marketing team in crafting a strategy for every APAC market on the most.

As the sole responsible function for Asia Pacific Public Communications, Ruben is in charge of crafting Communication plans with a a focus on media coverage. Ruben manages a team of agencies, freelancers and staff members in order to bring up the brand awareness of WOW Brands across lifestyle, general news and online media. Additionally, he is building up.

This role had a strong focus on global media relations and campaign planning. Ruben drove APAC regional coverage on the brand by planning content and establishing relationships with media and KOLs. He also supported local offices in the strategy and execution of their campaign plans. Globally, Ruben dealt with agencies, arranged interviews with executives.

Ruben created and managed a team of 12 to oversee VIPKID's global communications. His team was tasked with creating and implementing effective channels and messages with a 60,000+ strong contractor community based all over the world. - Regular product communications – Newsletters, mass emails, landing pages.- Corporate Communications – Company introduction.

RTVE is Spain's national broadcaster. Ruben acquired work experience in the National News department by performing tasks such as booking guests and writing scripts. He was allowed to develop two stories that aired in the regional news outlet. This was a 3 month placement.
