In 2000, the number of e-commerce operations was reduced by security risks for merchants, cardholders and card issuers. We started an e-commerce pilot with 10 partner stores, after 4 years, there were 3,500 of them operating in the Verified By Visa program, 3D Secure. We have patronized the Visa International program in partnership with issuers Bradesco, Banco do Brasil and Banco Real, defining protocols, information traffic, storage, hashs and other conventions, including payment gateways and online stores.
