- Developed a microservices-based API that provided weather details for Spanish municipalities, using Spring and Java. This required working with a complex dataset and implementing efficient data processing in order to provide useful content to be consumed.- Created a frontend interface for the API using Angular, allowing users to easily search for and view weather information for different municipalities. The interface included a map developed using Leaflet.js, which displayed weather information for the selected municipality when the user clicked on the map.- Constructed a pipeline from development to deployment using Jenkins, automating tasks such as building and testing the code, running a code analysis tool (Sonarqube), and deploying the API to different environments.- Deployed the API in the cloud using Google Compute Engine and Kubernetes, providing a scalable and highly available platform for the API.- Wrote clear and concise descriptions for all API endpoints, including details on request and response parameters with Swagger.- Worked in an Agile environment, following Scrum methodologies, collaborating closely with other team members and delivering working software at the end of each sprint.
