Current● After 12+ years of falling income, raised $72,000 in year three and expanded the budget by 25%,including a contribution of $22,000 to be placed in reserves, for a current budget of $525,000.● Planned, instituted, convened, facilitated, and led 5 coalitions on key issues affecting ourconstituents and partners: respite care, hearing aid access, long term care funding, kinship care, andadult protective services. Coalitions include 100+ members: advocates, people with livedexperience, 33 nonprofits, and 6 state departments. ● Recruited 10 board members over three years, including board chair and policy committee.Increased board diversity, including: older adults, people with disabilities, family caregivers,low-income individuals, members of the LGBTQ+ community, survivors of personal trauma.● Using inclusive, participatory methods, worked with staff to redesign personnel policies, includinghiring, feedback cycle, pay transparency, firing and accountability practices.● Directed all policy and advocacy activities over the course of 4 years, including setting the legislativeadvocacy agenda, conducting all engagement with both the state legislative and executive branches.● Conceptualized, coordinated, and produced first and second editions of 120-page Aging in VermontResource Guide. Ads, grants, and sponsorships fully cover costs and staff time for publication.● Led hiring, direct oversight, and support for staff of full and part-time employees specializing indiverse roles including, adult education, communications, community outreach, fiscal administration,and program assessment. Oversaw a variety of complex situations and conflicts, ensuring HR andlegal compliance, organizational security, and individual accountability.● Wrote financial systems and policies to align with industry best practices. Oversaw board approvaland instituted staff training to ensure uptake and compliance.
