Current- After 12+ years of falling income, raised $72,000 in year three and expanded the budget by 25%,including a contribution of $22,000 to be placed in reserves, for a current budget of $525,000.
- Planned, instituted, convened, facilitated, and led 5 coalitions on key issues affecting ourconstituents and partners: respite care, hearing aid access, long term care funding, kinship care, andadult protective.
- Recruited 10 board members over three years, including board chair and policy committee.Increased board diversity, including: older adults, people with disabilities, family caregivers,low-income individuals, members of.
- Using inclusive, participatory methods, worked with staff to redesign personnel policies, includinghiring, feedback cycle, pay transparency, firing and accountability practices.
- Directed all policy and advocacy activities over the course of 4 years, including setting the legislativeadvocacy agenda, conducting all engagement with both the state legislative and executive branches.
- Conceptualized, coordinated, and produced first and second editions of 120-page Aging in VermontResource Guide. Ads, grants, and sponsorships fully cover costs and staff time for publication.
