: Serve as Senior Cost Engineer for NASA space flight projects in a systems engineering and integration environment. Apply experience and knowledge for establishing cost estimating relationships, engineering estimates, and bottoms-up analysis using automated cost models for life cycle planning and development from concept through operational fielding and disposal. Perform cost sensitivity analysis for estimating recurring and non-recurring operational costs for space craft launch vehicles. Interface with design-in-supportability and operability disciplines for population, implementation, assessment, and maintenance of existing automated cost analysis tools to influence new designs and modifications. Perform coordination with availability modeling and logistics infrastructure planners.

Provide technical on-site (Government-site) subject matter expertise, program management, data analysis, data management and sustainmnet activity manangment for the Prototype Integration Facility (PIF) Statement of Work (SOW) in a successful conduct of activities for the U. S. Army PEO Missiles and Space, PFRMS Project Office. Responisbilities include providing technical and cost support for the cost reduction/should cost program for PFRMS. Gather information for use in evaluation of the cost reduction/should cost program. Evaluate cost, schedule and performance trends to assist in identifying possible ways to reserve negative trends and identify potential cost reductions. Provide support to the Government by gathering applicable top level documents to include technical requirements, specific information on hardware to be estimated and cost estimates/models for cost realism for the full life cycle of the program. Support the evaluation of Average Production Unit Cost (APUC) and program transition costs. Participate in regular meetings, monitor and communicate status and identify issues and concerns on all aspects of the hardware review, and provide follow-on assistance pertaining to the completed review as needed, support Cost Lead and/or Project Office with additional cost estimates, business case analysis (BCA), analysis of alternatives (AoA), or cost-benefit analysis (CBA) resulting from review or as deemed necessary. Provide technical support to establish and/or improve methods to monitor cost, schedule, and performance of resulting prime contract awards.
