As I prepare to enter my senior year at Ohio University, I am excited to apply my skills and experiences in marketing and sales to a full-time role after graduation. I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing with a certificate in Sales, complemented by hands-on experience through a summer sales internship with Palmer-Donavin in Columbus, OH. During this internship, I engaged in over 30 hours of professional development, including Leadership Lunch & Learns with the C-suite, and participated in weekly mentorship sessions with sales managers. I gained over 120 hours of experiential learning by shadowing internal outside sales representatives, attending specialized product training, and touring top vendors. My role also involved leading networking calls across various departments and analyzing the Net Promoter Score (NPS) for the sales department, which I presented to senior leadership.Beyond my role at Palmer-Donavin, I have gained valuable experience through diverse projects in previous positions. As a Marketing Intern at Madison and Eden, I developed social media content and crafted promotional emails that significantly boosted client visibility. These opportunities have sharpened my skills in creating strategic marketing plans and effectively engaging with clients.On campus, I am deeply involved in leadership and extracurricular activities that align with my passion for professional growth. As Vice President of Philanthropy for Delta Gamma - Zeta Rho, I led fundraising campaigns that set chapter records for Service for Sight. I was accepted into the Schey Sales Centre, the #1 collegiate sales program in the nation, joining the top 27% of candidates. Through this program, I completed an 8-week onboarding process that included professional development meetings and workshops, and I am currently working toward obtaining a sales certificate through a 16-course program. Additionally, I am a dedicated member of the Emerging Leaders Development Program, where I have gained insights into strategic leadership and emotional intelligence through weekly workshops and networking trips.I am enthusiastic about the opportunities that lie ahead and am seeking a role where I can leverage my background in sales and marketing, along with my commitment to inclusivity and leadership, to drive impactful results.
