Lead Preschool Teacher
CurrentI am the lead teacher in a preschool class, I have my Associates in Science Early Childhood Education Degree, and a NAMC’s Montessori Early Childhood (3-6) Diploma. I work very well with my two assistant teachers.I do the lesson planning according to the theme given each week.I did a focus wall on what the children will learn for the which is, an Alphabet, number, color, shape, two sight words, and the sign language for the letter of the alphabet for the week.We are given 3 ASL a month and my assistant and I teach one sign a week.I have the children learn to trace the letter and number of the week, and try to get them to trace their name.The children do a craft project according to the theme of the week.Circle time is done in the morning, I incorporate some Spanish words a week for the children to learn.
