As a College Readiness Counselor at a high school in the San Diego district, I play a crucial role in supporting seniors through their journey toward higher education and post-graduation opportunities. My primary responsibilities include assisting students in creating their FSA IDs and navigating the FAFSA application, addressing any questions or concerns they have throughout the financial aid process. In addition, I guide students through the college application process, helping them identify and apply to colleges that best align with their academic and personal goals.Beyond traditional college pathways, I also provide valuable resources for students interested in trade schools and other post-graduation opportunities, ensuring they have a well-rounded understanding of their options. I also oversee the properties and investments of ASUCSD, ensuring their maintenance and strategic use. As part of my duties, I contribute to writing and maintaining the rules, policies, and procedures governing ASUCSD and its entities, ensuring that they align with the best interests of the student body. Additionally, I have the power to delegate or revoke powers to other entities within the Association, ensuring a functional and organized structure. Finally, I carry out any other responsibilities set forth in the Constitution or By-Laws, or as assigned by the Senate, to serve and support the UC San Diego community effectively.

As the Finance Chair, I am responsible for overseeing and managing all financial aspects of the chapter. This includes maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring that all chapter transactions are documented properly. I organize and lead all fundraising efforts, working to meet financial goals while engaging chapter members and the community. In addition, I handle the collection and issuance of bills, invoices, and pledges, ensuring that all financial commitments are met. I am entrusted with administering all monetary assets, maintaining account information, and ensuring transparency and accountability in the chapter’s financial operations. As the sole Finance Chair, I work diligently to uphold financial integrity and support the chapter’s overall success.As one of the Caucus Representatives, I serve as the official liaison between Sigma Pi Alpha and the broader Multicultural Greek Council.
