I like to describe my role with the St Vincent de Paul Society as the "fun bits of HR". I work with diverse communities to implement innovation initiatives & support diversity committees, chair the Society DEIB committee, and ensure our policies are inclusive & equitable. Within OD I am the first responder for cultural safety reporting, develop & implement project plans (including a systems implementation), support workforce development, and chair our Culture Champions committee. I keep up to date on developments in the DEIB, OD, & HR spaces to ensure best practice.We have Rainbow Tick Accreditation for VincentCare Victoria and are working on our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan, in which I lead the Respect working group.In this role I’ve had the fabulous opportunity to lead our Compliance team while on secondment, change managing the team during new systems implementation and organisational changes.

Partnering with international NGOs and local legal professionals, editing and proof reading studies and reports up to 45000 words. These documents have covered broad topics including youth political participation and program implementation reviews.

Managed stakeholder relationships across Australia on P&C projects in the Education industry, conducting high volume recruitment. Presented at industry events, formed external partnerships, and developed internal onboarding processes for the Talent Acquisition team. Collaborated with Learning & Development to review national trainings and supported the organisational revamp of the CA values while shadowing Employee Experience. Member of the RAP Working Group.

Standalone P&C role across Australia. Built out national hiring & scheduling processes, managed employee schedules and conducted advertising, interviewing, and assignment of Behavioural Therapist positions across Victoria and Queensland. Worked on the development of training materials and conducted training for incoming therapists and trainers. Provided end-to-end recruitment of staff for positions across Victoria & Queensland, including advertisement of roles, interviewing, conducting reference checks, offering roles, negotiating contracts & training.

Worked with neurodiverse children of varying ability levels, trained and specialised in Applied Behaviour Analysis while working in a team as interventionists.

Provided advice, planning & logistics, and administrative support to individuals and small businesses across Australia, including HR processes and schedule management, as well as fun ad-hoc tasks.
