Working in a small team of three (Melbourne and Shanghai based) to support the business' decision making process by delivering quality HR reporting and metrics Asia Pacific wide.Key responsibilities:1) Process Improvement - Standardisation of reports; Create an environment and reports that drive process improvement through efficiency of report creation, delivery and storage; Process review and monitoring2) Data Quality - Review of data quality of business rules; Identify data quality issues, implement plans to action & resolve; Continual monitoring of data quality3) Operational Reporting - Provide standard and ad hoc Area focused reporting and statistic to People (HR) Team), focused on prodiving a view of the organisation and the ability to measure the quality and performance of People related processes.4) Management Report & Analysis - Provide Area, Sub Area and Functional Management reporting & analysis through the provision of Metrics Dashboard; Provision of both metrics & context

Responsibilities include:1) Working closely with the IT Operations Manager in implementation and control of technology plans,2) Designing and implementing reporting requirements which is based on Crystal Report XI,3) Act as a secondary resource for database administrator at QMC. This primarily involved working with the DBA team to focus on Oracle 9i administration and management including: Disaster recovery planning and support, DB maintenance including backup and restore, Oracle PL/SQL programming and development of db procedures and code, Diagnosis and analysis of operational issues for the Oracle db, Liaise with the DBAs and business users on the technical and functional limitations of reports that utilise data held in Oracle db.
