I'm a hardworking, resilient and inquisitive person who is curious about the world around them. And a bit of an insect nerd! I love understanding the unique ecosystems insects live and thrive, and the impact human-induced habitat degradation and climate change have on population abundances. My work in the conservation ecology sector thus far has allowed me to coordinate teams of volunteers to conduct scientific surveys. Community-driven conservation efforts and volunteer involvement in local projects is core to the work I'm currently undertaking. I'm proud to have established relationships with local landcare groups, Parks Vic employees and the general public to share knowledge about threatened species and inspire others to become involved in nature and conservation efforts. I'm lucky to have found a passion for entomology early in my career.
