As a Wholesale Account Trainer, I have a wide variety of duties that include representing the Fonte brand by coordinating and working at high-end events such as conventions for wineries, luxury hotels and automobiles. I assist in the set up of new wholesale accounts as well new retail operations.My training efforts are focused in several directions: wholesale accounts on a national level, national espresso machine technicians, store general managers and operations managers, and new store operations staff. I wrote the Fonte training manual for baristas – including tasting notes to how to operate machinery.I also double as an assistant store operations manager. In this role I have interviewed dozens of new staff and have trained over 100. I manage store daily operations including scheduling of staff. I perform store forecasting based on historical sales, I order supplies for the cafe and take inventory. In addition to the positive aspects of managing people I have also had experience with the more challenging parts, such as resolving difficult and controversial interpersonal issues among staff and at times, advocating for those that have been harassed. I have had to terminate staff as well.I am respected by company owners and staff as a friendly but competent and firm leader, and I use a "hospitality approach" to customer service, becoming familiar with customers, and their preferences.Among all my other experiences, I am a seasoned barista.

I bar tend major music events and festivals (such as Bumbershoot). These are high volume, high stress, high endurance work environment. In addition to bar tending duties, I perform a daily inventor of supplies and must adhere to strict practices for serving and inventory of alcohol.
