- Conducted, as an accredited labor and business ethics auditor, Forced-Labor and Bonded Labor investigations, with a focus on migrant workers, in companies across different industries 1) electronics manufacturers of RBA member-companies 2) contractor of a major global IT company 3) palm-oil refineries and plantations in the Asia-Pacific region- Assessed and drafted recommendations for improving policy and implementation of Human Rights Due Diligence of companies in the raw commodity/palm oil supply chain, including retailers, refineries, and plantations- Developed learning modules on understanding and addressing forced labor, human trafficking, and other forms of modern-day slavery and related standards and international conventions- Designed tools and guides to detect and assess risk of debt bondage, forced labor, and labor trafficking-Designed and co-wrote human-rights due diligence toolkit for oil-palm producers- Conducted interviews with key respondents for “Assessing Labor Risk for Workers Migrating to Europe” research

CAPACITY BUILDING: Develops needed capacities of Southeast Asian suppliers for sustainable social performance, including compliance with company’s code of conduct on social responsibility and with labor laws, and continuous improvement beyond minimum compliance. Conducts in-factory on-boarding and training on Gap’s key CSR policies and delivers other capability needs.COMPLIANCE MONITORING: Assesses working conditions of suppliers and oversees remediation of issues. Communicates other requirements to the factoriesProvides data and administrative support to corporate SR initiatives.
