Through the Creative Explorers program I provide curriculum development and implementation for topics in STEM for students in Preschool and Kindergarten through Grade 4. Focus areas include robotics, gardening, nutrition, and academic activities that support the Ohio Academic Content Standards for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

Provided direct instruction and facilitated laboratory activities for biology, earth science and physical science e-courses. Designed and facilitated an OGT Science Boot Camp program. Accomplishment: Developed and implemented a lesson plan for small classroom gardens, wrote and applied for a grant to expand the school garden program.

Taught curriculum from the `Food Is Elementary' vegetarian program to students, ages 3-7. Facilitated nutritional cooking demonstrations with young adult parents, ages 16-19. Accomplishments: Successfully facilitated lessons to acquaint children with the different foods in the USDA Food Pyramid, highlighting the fundamentals of preparing plant-based food.

Assisted a PhD Candidate with a fish population study on Virginian Black Sea Bass. Job duties included fish species analysis, dissection of samples and maintaining database applications. Accomplishment: The completed Black Sea Bass study provided commercial fisheries and its legislator's key information on major demographics, such as fecundity and age.
