15+ years of exploration & hard work, 4 different sectors, and 7 different positions!No, this is not the streamlined synopsis of my career; however, it is a glimpse into everything I have done during my working tenure. I have handled different roles such as Brand Strategist, Brand Solutions and Brand Integrations Expert, Content Head, Account Manager, Voice Over Artist, and Communications Associate for a decade and a half now.Professionally, I have achieved significant results, by developing winning marketing strategies and boosting brand awareness for varied brands from different verticals and worked with India’s largest Media conglomerate, The Times Group for almost half a decade.And, all through, behind the scenes, there’s one role that I have been constantly playing, not by profession but by passion, it’s that of an unofficial counselor…Be it at home, in my circle of friends, with my schoolmates, collegemates, or with my colleagues, I have always been that go-to friend who had a heart to listen, a mind to understand, and a soul to offer warmth when anyone came to me overwhelmed… While I was hustling with all my responsibilities professional & personal… I looked back several times, and it got me thinking of my eclectic experiences, official & unofficial — so, no it is not that story of a eureka moment when one day you find your true calling…But yes, I found my true calling… my “Ikigai” and it was a process, a well-thought-of process. This journey was full of contemplation, every morning I have gotten up with a heart full of gratitude, no matter what my day was filled with but every day had at least one act of “thoughtful conversation”, the universe was pushing me towards it constantly… and today I thank everyone who pushed me toward my true calling, knowingly, and unknowingly. Today, I am finally practicing, as a Certified Counseling Psychologist and Emotional Intelligence Practitioner and I am very happy to serve humankind. At last, I must share with you all that in all these years I have learned one thing– “My heart, soul, and mind are vital to me, they make me who I am today.
