Providing consulting, testing and analysis expertise, and program management focused on Smart Grid systems and devices.Program management for the Smart Grid Interoperability Panel (SGIP), a federal government initiative managed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The SGIP is a membership organization comprised of over 700 organizations, primarily corporations and also including federal agencies, national laboratories, industry alliances and the energy regulatory community. Primary responsibility for all SGIP committees and operations related to testing and certification activities associated with over one hundred industry standards, one of the three major components of the overall SGIP initiative. As program manager and technical champion for these activities, led development of technical deliverables collaborating with member organization experts to fulfill directives of the SGIP governing committees and NIST. Coordination of volunteer participants representing nearly 150 member organizations (utilities, manufacturers, laboratories, standards organizations and government) in developing consensus project and resource plans, and balancing the needs and expectations of this broad set of stakeholders. Program leadership and business development for EnerNex Smart Grid Labs, the premier facility for product design analysis, interoperability assessment, performance and security testing and training.Additional responsibilities include leadership at industry events focused on technology demonstration, particularly as the project manager for the Smart Grid interoperability demonstrations at the annual Grid Interop and Connectivity Week conferences.
