Coordinating with volunteers, association leadership, and internal team members, I encourage my clients to expand their membership, revenue, and further their missions. I serve two healthcare nonprofit associations, working to engage their membership and oversee their programming and manage teams. I engage in financial oversight through forecasting, budgeting, and monthly financial review. I also manage educational programming, including planning various in person and virtual conferences and workshops.

I collaborated with the rest of our development team to properly acknowledge donors and process donations. Using DonorQuest, I entered daily donations and properly coded them according to stimulus. I also created daily revenue reports for our Accounting Department based on the stimuli for donations. I drafted and sent acknowledgement letters, all while fielding donor questions and requests. I also assisted with donor prospect and event research.

I assisted with finding content for monthly newsletters and social media posts. I also helped to direct Museum members' questions to the correct staff member, and assisted sending out donation acknowledgement tax receipt letters.

At the Center for Community Engagement at American University, I managed a group of undergraduate students who tutored elementary school children. In this role, I coordinated schedules between 15 tutors and a local DC elementary school to ensure accurate staffing during volunteer hours. I also developed team building exercises, planned meeting between tutors, and served as the communications liaison between the university, the elementary school, and the tutors. I also served as the volunteer manager for Kids on Campus Day, overseeing more than 50 volunteers to coordinate an event that brought over 500 students to American University's campus.

I worked with a professor to assist with research and create presentations and articles. In particular, I assisted with creating a presentation for a conference about Vietnam history and dove into research with the Pacific Alliance. I assisted in writing an article detailing the potential security threats with the Pacific Alliance for Chile. I also translated articles between Spanish and English.

I researched racial and gender discrimination within schools in order to create a campaign fighting these issues. I assisted with creating a video by creating brief informational statements for it, with the purpose of education teachers and parents about the impacts of bullying on young children.

I fostered an increase in literacy rates among first, second and third graders who have fallen behind in reading through one-on-one tutoring during their school hours. I also collaborated with other tutors in order to ensure maximum improvement for each individual student through leaving detailed notes and instructions on previously completed lessons.
