My journey to design-build construction started while I was well on my way to becoming a biomedical engineer. When I started looking at job placement, it became apparent that I didn't want to further that education any longer. I needed to interact with people and make a difference to their lives. Listening to my family, I needed to get an education so I switched gears to an apprenticeship program through the Associated Builders & Contractors. This new chapter included a four year school program that spanned 3 employers as I searched for my best "fit" as a builder. I excelled at carpentry and received the award for the Number 1 graduating carpenter in the Nation in 2000. Designing and building generates excitement. It's this excitement and passion that I use as an instrument to communicate a higher level of expectations and outcome to my customers and my team. Each day I find the opportunity to look at a piece of a construction project and find the pieces that elevates my mood & perception. This piece shines through to my team and my relationships with clients as the build process unfolds & the excitement starts to spread. The infectious feeling of generating a space that "feels great" is what drives me and my team to produce better results each time we start a project.Specialties: The Compelling Homes team specializes in maintaining an extremely high level of pride and craftsman ship in every step of what we do. It's taken 10 years to find the roster of people on the Compelling Team, and they are amazing. Each project that complete uses the same great team. This way we all understand each-others expectations and communication becomes very easy. The end result is each new client experiences the same level of detail and excitement as from our previous customers.
