I design virtual learning experiences that empower clients to seamlessly extend their learning beyond virtual and physical classrooms into the real-world. These experiences, or learning journeys, prioritize innovative solutions using activity-based methodologies, ultimately enabling individuals to perform at their peak potential. My expertise extends to designing impactful Train the Trainer (TTT) sessions and providing design consulting services.

At Apposite Learning Solutions I created detailed KPIs to aid yearly performance reviews for the ID team. I also mentored and coached IDs to help them reach their full potential and set them up for success. As Head ID, I worked closely with HR to find suitable ID candidates to interview and recruit.

I worked with the Learning Design Services group to design digital learning experiences for internal employees. My role as a Design Consultant was to manage portfolios for the Deloitte UK/Global firm by capturing learning requirements and overseeing the development of these courses with vendors.

I diagnosed learning needs and designed contextualised behavioural classroom solutions by creating experiential and somatic sessions for participants. I also drove the creation and implementation of content management processes by designing templates, documents and workflows to make my design team’s work more efficient and less stressful.

As part of the India leadership group, I built the Instructional Design and Content Development team from three members to 25 members across India. I also set up design collaboration initiatives with designers in the US and India to share and combine their experiences across the board. A large part of my role required me to review all deliverables to ensure they met our high benchmarks. Within my role as a manager, I had to allocate resources to projects based on skills and needs. I particularly enjoyed creating a year-long learning journey to identify and deploy enablement programs for instructional designers, technologists, and project managers for the India and US learning teams.

I collaborated with India’s leading instructional design consultant, Punam Medh, by providing support on designing a behavioral blended learning approach for HDFC Standard Life’s 1300 Branch Managers. In my capacity as a Lead Instructional Designer I designed detailed design documents for ILT and eLearning components. Each document includes the instructional flow, storyboard synopsis, and assessment strategies.

I was part of the Content Development team at 24x7 Learning where I captured client requirements and designed engaging and effective instructional approaches. I also worked closely with L&D departments in various organizations to design and conduct in-houses instructional design/ eLearning workshops. My main client was Zurich International Bank.

I was a core member of the Learning and Knowledge (L&K) account for eLearning solutions that were distributed on a global LMS for IBM employees across all geographies. In a larger context, I interviewed Lead Instructional Designers, created and imparted ID training, and was a mentor to junior Instructional Designers. Being the primary lead on projects, I also calculated effort and cost estimates for these training solutions.

At Hurix, my main responsibility was to set-up and train the content development team. Collaborating closely with pre-sales, I developed instructional strategies for RFPs. As a manager, I strategically assigned team members to projects based on their skills, while also mentoring them to define individual career paths and supporting both vertical and horizontal growth within the organization.
