- Plan, coordinate, and manage activities related to international and domestic shipments with freight and transportation firms, suppliers, and Canadian customs. Work with the sales team on stock availability based on forecasting and orders.- Organize overseas suppliers' purchase orders.- Ensure that consumers and distributors are always satisfied by working closely with operations teams.- Ensure that all inventory and shipment data (cost, transportation costs, quantity, etc.) is entered into the company's different software systems and that any discrepancies are examined and remedied.- Ensure that all shipments are booked and received in a timely and efficient manner to satisfy the expectations of customers by forming strong cross-functional team relationships.- Complete and submit all applicable customs documents on schedule; troubleshoot as needed

- Monitor shipment statuses of marine shipments to track and trace- Coordinate with ocean carriers, trucking companies, customs brokers and warehouse to ensure shipments are ready for clients- Receive import/export documents to ensure correctness and submit documents/manifest for customs clearance, other Import/Export agents, or dispatch to trucking carriers- Build and maintain the relationship with customers, suppliers, and distributors to deliver the shipment in a timely manner

- Working with customers, shippers, receivers, and trucking companies over the phone and email.- Getting rates for the sales team- Booking loads- Dispatching carriers- Find out hours of operation for shippers and receivers- Updating shipments- Maintain data entries to ensure accurate records in the dispatch system- Collect PODs in a timely manner- Assist Sales Team on a day to day operations

- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations- Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure. they meet needs- Enter financial transactions into internal databases- Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed- Review and file payroll documents

• Work in a team environment with the Program Facilitator, staff and volunteers• Provide assistance in the kitchen for meal preparation (comfort with handling knives for cutting or chopping), meal service, clean up, dishwashing and taking out the garbage• Some lifting (e.g. pots of cooked food, bags of rice)• Assist in shopping for supplies• Assist clients in their participation in programs and respond to clients’ concerns• Promote a welcoming environment with a high standard of customer service that is client-focused
