Proficient senior executive combining Business Unit Management and Marketing & Sales leadership positions in high profile and fast paced FMCG companies (Unicer/Carlsberg, Unilever Global, Unilever Jeronimo Martins and Central de Cervejas), both local and multinational. Throughout my career, I have acquired solid expertise to manage under very diverse conditions: different product categories, geographies, routes to market, distribution channels and also across different business challenges (launch a new business; accelerate business growth; divest and disposal; position a brand globally; international business development; sustain a mature business and regain market leadership; restructuring; optimize value chain). Although my latest corporate role as Chief Marketing Officer, my value proposition is fundamentally based on general management competencies, complemented by a strong capability to deep dive into different functional arenas (finance, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, etc). Highly focused on: i) keeping high levels of performance, ii) delivering a healthy P&L, iii) ensuring effective people management and, last but not the least, iv) maintaining a fully aligned relationship with key stakeholders (in some cases, shareholders themselves).
