Assembled and led a brilliant team behind a complete Grammarly desktop apps re-invention that is now a new flagship Grammarly product and a platform for achieving the company's vision.

After we achieved strong product market fit and sustained growth with Desktop Grammarly apps, I hopped on a new journey of building a second consumer vertical from scratch – Mobile. Was leading the research, strategy, roadmapping, design, development, and launch efforts. With a talented team, we eventually got to high-margin profitability and fast growth in a very competitive market. Most importantly, people love what we've built!

Led an agile team through a hyper-growth to 10M daily active users. We managed to keep free user retention and upgrade rates almost intact while scaling the user base more than 100x over two years. Was responsible for all user-facing apps: Web Editor (flagship product), MS Office Add-in, native desktop apps for Mac and Windows, Support portal, and newly launched browser extensions for Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.

Was responsible for building a second successful app to diversify the company’s product offerings and risks: design, prototyping, development, launch, and support.• Managed a small team of two software engineers, a designer, and a QA engineer.• In less than 6 months, we went from an idea to a published, successful Mac app.• Awarded “Best of 2012” by Apple and still holding the “Editor’s Choice” on the App Store.

Joined the team a few months after the company founded. Mostly focusing on software engineering, I was doing whatever needed for the core product success – writing code, testing, analyzing user feedback, working on UX and design. Later became a part of the strategy team involved in the organization growth planning – from product strategy to building teams and processes.
