I have dedicated over a decade to strengthening Dalit rights movement in Nepal. My work focuses on supporting these rights through research, policy dialogues, data-driven advocacy, and nurturing the next generation of leaders from the Dalit community. I am a former Senior Minority Fellow of the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and a recipient of the U.S. State Department's International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).

As an executive head of the organization, I was responsible to work with the executive board to develop organizational strategy, policy and projects on Dalit issues. Besides raising funds for the organization, I also worked to establish and maintain coordination and liaison with the donors, government agencies and CSOs to promote Dalit rights.
