  Looking after a payroll of approximately 1000 staff of varying roles and positions, requiring planning and prioritising a diverse workload in order to meet demanding targets and deadlines. Duties included but not limited to:● Completing and checking starter, leaver and change details● Applying all allowances and deductions when authorised● Applying manual enhancements, on call, unpaid leave where required● Applying maternity, paternity and shared parental status and SMP's amongst others● Following up on sickness entitlements issues such as SSP1● Checking retro and associated changes● Calculating salary over-payments, raise invoices, send letters● Issuing manual P45's● Sending statements of earnings● Applying court orders and other deductions● Maintaining electronic filing● Providing cover to other payrolls due to absence and holidays● Preparation of Excel pay calculations
