My work involves advising on a broad range of commercial matters including purchases and sale, secured lending and commercial leases.Although I mainly act for commercial clients, I also works closely with a number of banks.

My first seat was in Property and my responsibilities included:- managing my own files from initial instructions to completion;- opening client files and dealing with compliance issues;- drafting contracts, leases and various deeds and notices;- deduction of title and dealing with enquiries;- liaising with mortgage providers in relation to new applications and redemptions;- commissioning searches, report on title and exchange of contracts;- exchange and completion paperwork including compiling financial statements;- managing client account ledgers for completion; and- post completion registration and stampingI continued my training with a seat in Civil Litigation where I gained experience in the following areas:- General disputes;- Enforcement proceedings;- Possession proceedings;- Enfranchisement;- Contentious matters between landlords and tenants;- Small Claims Court matters.I am currently in my third and final seat which is in the Family Department where I advise on a broad range of family matters including;- Divorce and separation;- Financial aspects of divorce;- Cohabitation;- Disputes between parents concerning arrangements for children; and- Domestic violence.
