CurrentProject Name: Business Intelligence Repository (BIR) Role: Senior Oracle Developer Technology Stack: Oracle 12c/19c, Pentaho, SSRS Project Overview:BIR is a Data Warehouse (DW) and reporting solution utilized by JPMorgan Chase's regulatory team to generate critical transactional reports on a daily and monthly basis. These reports are used for regulatory compliance, data analysis, and business intelligence. Key Responsibilities:- Report Logic Development: Designed and implemented complex report generation logic to meet various business and regulatory requirements.- Data Center and Database Migration: Led the migration of the BIR infrastructure to a new data center while upgrading the database from Oracle 12c to Oracle 19c. This involved ensuring seamless data transfer, minimizing downtime, and validating data integrity post-migration.- ETL and Data Integration: Worked with ETL tools (Pentaho, SSRS) to integrate and transform data, ensuring the reporting system was both efficient and aligned with business needs.- Performance Tuning: Performed database optimizations and queries tuning to ensure fast data retrieval and optimal system performance.- Collaboration: Coordinated with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, data scientists, and business analysts to ensure successful implementation and smooth operation of the BIR platform.
