•Provided advice, assistance and services in support of Aboriginal Head-Start Program on Reserve to First Nations within the BC-Region. Consulted with senior team members in resolving complex queries and situation•Worked with Communities and its staff to resolve program reporting difficulties, modifies and adapts national program reporting documents and preparing work/program plans, proposals and evaluation reports•Served as one of the key contacts for AHSOR Program Coordinators and other staff of the Program who require project advice, support and assistance•Performed preliminary reviews and provided analysis of project proposals, funding requests, proposed plans and budgets•Conducted assigned portions of applied research initiatives, locate and compile information and prepare summary•Carried out and delivered components of briefings and presentations relating to new program requirements, health funding arrangement and/or specific issues and problems •Assisted and coordinated the activities and processes for granting funding assistance through a Contribution Agreement to First Nations•Managed data collection systems to ensure capability of evaluating program effectiveness, and efficiency, meeting reporting requirements and monitoring compliance of the contribution agreement•Provided advice to managers and all other clientele•Maintained system integrity by incorporating updated technology and implementing office procedures•Verified that work done by consultants or service providers is in compliance with contracts•Provided training in formulating the various contribution agreements and program management for the Post-Transfer Unit, Integrated Unit and all other Units of FNIH when requested•Assisted in coordinating workshops, meeting and conference for the Children and Youth Unit•Monitored processes to ensure all required steps and documentation are completed in compliance with program guidelines
