• Team lead for wireless network group. Responsible for supporting wireless network for 12 urban hospitals and over 250 physicians and administrative offices.• Very customer focused and willing to go the extra mile to make sure customer requirements are exceeded.• Devise, plan, deploy and improve the Cisco wireless networks for the organization-wireless controllers (5520/8540/5508) and wireless access points (3802/3702/1815). • Use various tools to evaluate, test, and tweak the wireless network components (SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, MSE, CMX, and ISE). • Conduct wireless assessments using wireless survey software (Air Magnet and Ekahau, LTE). • Knowledge of cisco firewall routing protocols (OSFP, EIGRP, BGP, RIP)• Write knowledge base articles and network infrastructure documentation. • Optimize wireless network performance by supervising performance, addressing network problems and breakdowns, and partnering with other team members to optimize the network. • Serve as Tier 4 engineer for wireless network troubleshooting. • Onboard and train new members of the wireless network team. • Partner with the clinical device team to recommend changes to the configuration of clients to optimize performance on the wireless network. • Use Python scripting language for switch configuration and reporting.Key Accomplishments: • Part of the team that planned, deployed, and supported external wireless networks for COVID-19 operations at 12 hospitals. This included support for Cradlepoint networks. • Lead wireless engineer for new surgery center opening. Responsible for planning, deploying, and project management of the wireless network. • Part of the team that designed and implemented and upgraded the wireless network at the 12 local hospitals.
